YOUTH THEATRE

Ages 8 to 12 & 11 to 16

Led by Liz Paige. At Stamford Arts Centre, we pride ourselves on our excellent youth theatre groups that provide young people from the ages of 8 through to 16 with a solid foundation in performance and production.

The groups are designed so that children can work their way up through the age groups and therefore get the most out of their youth theatre experience. This year the groups are working towards a production in May

SSYT

STAMFORD SENIOR YOUTH THEATRE

SSYT is a unique theatre company open to young people 15 - 22 years old who have built a solid reputation for creating exciting, original and innovative theatre. Entry into the company is by audition only which takes place annually every summer. During the exciting year, valuable training and experience is gained in performance and production as well as how to facilitate your own workshops.

The Miracle is 2013's production and work is progressing well for the schools tour and In House dates.

The 2012 production Torchbearer was performed on our theatre stage and taken to 5 schools around the region for SSYT on Tour. A new addition were the successful SSYT In House days where schools visited Stamford Arts Centre for a full day of performance and workshops with SSYT.
