Details of our Accessible Cinema programme

Captioned Subtitles

We are pleased to announce that we are trialling a new programme of Captioned Subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing. We are welcoming feedback from our audiences during this trial stage. Should you wish to make any comments please email boxoffice@stamfordartscentre.com

These subtitled English language screenings are open to all:

Relaxed Screenings - supported by Grantham Autism Information Network

Relaxed screenings are suitable for families with children who have an autistic condition, sensory and communication disorders or a learning disability. During these screenings low lights are left on and the volume of the soundtrack is reduced. Audiences are free to move around or take a break during the film. Tickets for these screenings are £5.

Wheelchair users and those who have difficulty using stairs are welcome to use the platform lift to the cinema. Parking for disabled badge holders is available in St Mary’s Street and St George’s Square, adjacent to the Arts Centre.

Our cinema has an Induction Loop, please switch hearing aids to the T position.
