St Andrew’s church stands amongst trees at the top of the broad high street. Evidence of its Norman origins are evident in a pillar on the north side of the aisle with the chancel from the 13th century and aisles and 14th century arcades. The finest feature is undoubtedly the screen with its richly carved pattern of roses and vines.
