The Japan Foundation’s annual touring programme comes to Stamford Arts Centre for the first time, with an exciting double-bill of Japanese cinema through the narrative framework of the ways in which people feel ‘happiness’. Since 2004, the Japan Foundation has showcased, in partnership with distinguished film venues across the nation, some of the finest Japanese films in order to introduce their versatility and uniqueness to the UK. With a line-up of contemporary titles that have never had a UK release, there is always something for everyone.
