Wed 23 Feb 7.30pm Dir: Laurent Micheli Belg/Fr 2019 1hr 31mins Subtitled
With: Mya Bollaers, Benoît Magimel
18-year-old Lola is a transgendered woman who, for two years, has been estranged from her insensitive father. Then, following the death of her supportive mother, Lola returns home to carry-out her mother's wishes and scatter her ashes into the North Sea.
Yet in order to do so Lola and her father must make the road trip together, dramatically forcing both of them to reassess their feelings in a compelling and remarkably tender exploration of family relationships and identity.
