Mixed Vocal Salad (with a Side Order of Singing Science) I Fagiolini are known the world over for their vivid performances of characterful choral music.
This concert features staggeringly beautiful Renaissance pieces by Tomkins and Monteverdi, as well as Benjamin Britten, Flanders & Swann and an aural strip cartoon from 1966!
The concert also includes a special short performance of an investigation into how science works in music by children from local schools put together with I Fagiolini’s director, Robert Hollingworth. The noises they will make are a good way to get a seat on a crowded bus...
‘If there’s a more enterprisingly theatrical vocal group than this one, I’ve yet to encounter it.’ The Telegraph
