For the last two years Pip Stewart has cycled along Brazil's TransAmazonian Highway, lived with indigenous communities in Peru, and paddled Guyana's Essquibo River from source to sea, a world first, accompanied by the local Wai Wai tribe. Through her adventures, she has seen first-hand why protecting wild places and the rich cultures that exist within them is so important. From building new roads, to buying gold, palm oil or beef, is it time we re-evaluated the choices we make and resulting impact we are having on the world?
