Billy Baxter is feeling ill
It’s worse than measles and mumps
His heads so hot you could cook an egg
The hospital stay could be months!
Billy is poorly, and perhaps just a tiny bit scared. He’s stuck in a hospital room with drab white walls, nasty tasting medicine and lots of busy grown-ups with not enough patience for this little patient. It’s miserable. But all that’s about to change…
When a cool hospital porter comes dancing down the corridors, pushing a trolley of books, he swings by, and leaves an old tattered old tome on Billy’s bed. Little does Billy know that the book is his ticket to a whole world of adventure! Pulled into the pages, he’ll be transported far from his bed into strange new worlds and make the journey of a lifetime.
Join Billy, and family performance specialists Rhubarb Theatre, on their latest quest, as they discover the healing power of stories and try to prove that laughter is the best medicine! Following the fantastic success of the time travelling, Sidney’s Shed, Rhubarb Theatre present a brand-new show - bursting with imagination, dance, music and a healthy dose of Rhubarb magic!
