Stamford Shoestring Theatre A company of nearly 40 actors and musicians will be bringing this moving true story to the Arts Centre before transferring the production to The Minack Open-Air Theatre in Cornwall in July. The story tells how, in 1665-66, the villagers of Eyam in Derbyshire sacrificed their own families to stop the plague from spreading to surrounding villages.
