Our Place, Our Art - Paid Opportunity!

Our Place, Our Art was a vibrant community-driven project, supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, that brought together artists and local residents to create lasting public artworks across South Kesteven District Council (SKDC). Through murals, sculptures, and creative displays, the project celebrated the unique identity, history, and culture of each town, leaving a lasting legacy of community pride.

Four talented artists worked closely with residents to bring these visions to life:

  • Emilie Nunn – Grantham
  • Emily Bowers – Bourne
  • Imogen Joyce – Stamford
  • Rose Croft – Deepings

Each tab on this site takes you behind the scenes of the creative journey in each town. You’ll find details on how the artwork was developed, the workshops held with local residents, and the people who played a role in shaping these unique pieces. This was a true community project—built on collaboration, storytelling, and a shared love for the places we call home.
