Have you ever caught yourself hovering over the sink, eating pasta straight out of the saucepan, entirely convinced that everyone else is living a sleek, well-oiled existence while you... well, hover over the sink eating pasta straight out of the saucepan. Georgie has.
Praised for her “formidable stage presence and compelling way with words” (Reviews Hub) Georgie’s work captures the exquisite messiness of modern existence and makes the chaos, somehow, quite comfortable. In her latest hour, she shares poems from her debut collection, And The World Spins Anyway. It’s a love letter to real life, however it shows up; an antidote to the highlight reel that is social media, a tribute to the unfinished, the unfiltered, the uncertain.
She can’t promise any answers, but she can make you feel a little less alone in not having them.
