BEHEMOTH!

Pedro Pascal plays a gifted cellist who returns to Los Angeles after 20 years on the road in Tony Gilroy’s sophisticated new drama.

Dir: Tony Gilroy | USA | 2026 | 127 mins

Cast | Pedro Pascal, Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Will Arnett

Pedro Pascal (The Last of Us) gives a career-best performance as a cellist picking up the pieces of a fractured life in the new film by Oscar–nominated writer-director Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton).

A former prodigy living in the shadow of a storied musical family, Alex has left his position with an orchestra in Chicago – fleeing a soured relationship with a manic ex (Olivia Wilde – The Invite) – to return to Los Angeles to work on Hollywood film scores and resolve unfinished family business.

Using deft flashbacks and a panoply of original movie compositions, Gilroy turns Alex’s desire for stability, meaning and redemption into a sophisticated drama of the highest order.
