Juliette Binoche seems perfectly cast in this heady tale of a middle-aged woman equally in love with two men, one of them her long-time partner and the other her partner’s former friend. The fact that the friend is also a lover from the woman’s past does tend to complicate things but when the situation turns into a full-on love triangle issues of love and lust complicate the passions of these all-too human characters.
