Nominated for eight César Awards and winner of Best Actress for Léa Drucker, Dominik Moll’s (Lemming, The Night of the 12th) tense, charged thriller explores the fall-out from police brutality during the 2018 gilet-jaunes protests in France.
Against an incendiary backdrop of mass unrest, internal affairs investigator Stéphanie (Drucker) is working on the case of a teenager severely wounded by police fire. But pressure mounts as her inquiry meets with institutional resistance, and the case takes a personal turn when she discovers the victim is from her hometown.
