Presenting an exciting program of new arrangements of classic jazz repertoire, this Quartet is led by virtuoso saxophonist Chris Gumbley fronting a band of some of the UK’s top jazz instrumentalists:
Chris Gumbley – Saxophones
Al Gurr – Piano
James Owston – Double Bass
Andrew ‘Woody’ Wood – Drums
Chris has performed alongside The Temptations & The Four Tops, The English Chamber Orchestra, Pasadena Roof Orchestra and an abundance of his own projects. Al (piano) & James (double bass) will be making their first appearance as part of the Stamford jazz program.
