Emma Thompson stars in an icy Midwestern thriller set in Fargo country with a love story at its heart.

Travelling alone through the epic wilderness of frozen northern Minnesota on a pilgrimage to scatter her late husband’s ashes, widow Barb (Thompson) interrupts the kidnapping of a teenage girl (Laurel Marsden) by a desperate armed couple (Judy Greer, Marc Menchaca).

Hours from the nearest town and out of phone reception, she gradually comes to realise that she is the young girl's only hope.
