Thursday 16th June 7.30pm St Andrew’s Church, West Deeping PE6 9HU
Eleanor Turner is a passionate ambassador for the harp and its music. She is an international prize-winning artist who has performed everywhere from Shanghai to New Orleans and is a leading expert in contemporary music.
St Andrew’s enjoys an idyllic position in meadows beside a mill race in the River Welland. Multicoloured Victorian tiles in the chancel contrast with the mellow stonework of the nave. There is a notable early 14th century octagonal font and, the church’s crowning glory, a magnificent chandelier dated 1770.
£16 (£14) £8 UNDER 26
Refreshments will be available during concert intervals, these are provided by the churches and the income goes to church funds.
Seating in all churches is unreserved, it can also be hard so you may wish to bring a cushion or a rug.
Car parking may be a short distance from the church, please allow adequate time and be considerate to local residents.
