Concert for all ages at Stamford Methodist Church with Andrew Kennedy - Tenor, Eleanor Turner - Harp, Archie Maclennan - Piano and The Herbie Lamb Jazz Quartet.

This unique concert brings together a fantastic array of local artists. The acclaimed Opera Singer Andrew Kennedy has sung principal roles in major opera houses of the world including La Scala, Milan, Royal Opera, Royal Opera Covent Garden, Houston Grand Opera, Oper Frankfurt, L'Opéra Comique in Paris, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera and Opera de Lyon. He has worked with some of the world's principal orchestras with conductors.

Eleanor Turner is a passionate ambassador for the harp and its music. She is an international prize-winning artist who has performed everywhere from Shanghai to New Orleans and is a leading expert in contemporary music. Eleanor has released classical discs on Champs Hill Records, Decca, Naxos and her own label, Arts in Fusion. She curates pioneering shows such as her 'Wild Bird' for harp with string quartet, flute, clarinet and percussion, and workshops such as 'Philo Sophia', a discussion-based event sharing feminine wisdom. Her latest project is a live music centred evening event called 'Sanctuary', which she has curated and performed at since February 2022.

Archie Maclennan is a real local gem. He plays with beauty and creativity, that will take you on an enchanting journey. His recently been accepted in The Prestigious Birmingham Conservatoire to help further develop his playing. We wish him well.

The Herbie Lamb Quartet. A well respected local Jazz Quartet with the wonderful voice of Jaquie Barker play songs from the great American Songbook and beyond.

Monies made will be going towards the Nixon Memorial Hospital in Sierra Leone and Bumps and Beyond in Stamford.
