A selection of our online events are free to watch and take part in. If you would like to support the work that we are doing to provide arts at home, while theatres across the country are closed, you can donate at stamfordartscentre.com/donate or guildhallartscentre.com/donate
For the March edition of our online Jazz concerts, we welcome Helen Gayle and Matthew Ratcliffe
Helen Gayle (voice) & Matthew Ratcliffe (keyboards)
Helen Gayle is a singer songwriter who moved to Derbyshire from London, nearly 17 years ago. Her vocal influences combine jazz, soul and blues. In 2015, Helen was a finalist in a national song writing competition. Helen featured in one of the Stamford Arts Centre 'Live in Lockdown' videos back in summer, and we're delighted to welcome her back to perform this intimate full length set.
Matt is an accomplished pianist, improviser and composer leading his own projects whilst also performing with many of the best players on the UK contemporary jazz scene, Matt has forged his own unique and individual voice on the piano. Regular 'Jazz in the Cellar Bar' attendees may recognise Matt as a regular member of the house band!
