This smart comedy begins with Milton who lives a quiet life a small Pennsylvania town but finds his day upended when a UFO and its extra-terrestrial passenger crash land in his backyard.

Before long, Milton develops a close relationship with the unexpected ET he decides to call "Jules."

Things become complicated when a couple of female neighbours discover what’s going on and the government closes in.

What follows is a funny, wildly inventive ride as the three neighbours find meaning and connection later in life - thanks to this unlikely stranger.

“A compassionate character study that accomplishes what few current films do: a sweet, simple sense of wonder” AARP Movies for Grownups
