Discover the ancient Japanese art of Kumihimo braiding in our popular Braided Kumihimo Workshop with Donna McKean Smith, owner of Riverside Beads in Market Deeping. This creative and relaxing class is perfect for anyone wishing to explore the beautiful world of braiding while making their own stunning bracelets.

During this hands-on session, Donna will guide you step by step through the process of creating a unique Kumihimo bracelet — a braided cord bracelet made on a round Kumihimo disk. All materials are included with a choice of colours of satin cord, and end caps, learning essential techniques along the way.

As the owner of Riverside Beads and Crafts and author of two Kumihimo books, Donna brings over 24 years of teaching experience to her classes. Her passion for the craft and clear teaching style make this an inspiring and enjoyable workshop for all skill levels.
