Eeking out a hard living on a remote Icelandic sheep farm a childless couple discover a newborn that they come to love and cherish as if it were their own. Except the youngster they adore is very different from other children and the couple’s joy is gradually undermined as something entirely monstrous emerges from the harsh and barren land.
“A slow-burn suspenseful horror that eschews the genre's typical gore and jump scares, and instead frightens audiences with a nuanced portrait of grief, punctuated by the unshakable feeling that something is terribly wrong” Screen Rant
