Join Festival Director Freya Goldmark and festival artists including Alessandro Ruisi and Nathaniel Boyd for an evening of chamber music at SIMFestival’s annual Christmas Concert.
The programme brings together two landmarks of the string quartet repertoire. Mendelssohn’s quartet writing combines clarity, energy and expressive depth, while Ravel’s String Quartet remains one of the defining works of the early twentieth century, admired for its rich textures, subtle craftsmanship and distinctive sound world.
Performed by a quartet of leading chamber musicians, this special concert offers a chance to hear two masterpieces side by side as we celebrate the festive season.
