In this workshop/storytelling session, listen and take part in, Marion’s stories, explore the storytelling props, parents and child together, make up some stories of your own and come up with some problems that you can solve using mathematics.
For parents, find out about all the mathematics you already do with your children but never realised: for children, enjoy the antics of Anansi the spider, the foolish dinosaurs, and the boy who caught a big fish. You will go home with a smile on your face and a head full of stories. Marion Leeper is a storyteller, educator and author of Developing Early Maths through Story. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Tickets £3 per child per session (1 accompanying adult goes free)
