Out and About! – NEW SKDC PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION

After a highly successful Lockdown Photo Competition in 2020 resulted in some heart-warming images illustrating how life changed as a result of the corona virus crisis, Arts Centre staff would like you to take photos of things you have missed and are pleased to have back in your life.

It could be your hairdresser, the shops, your Gran or your dance classes? 

The new competition will run over May, June and July and shortlisted entries will form part of an exhibition at the Guildhall Arts Centre in August which will feature both the Lockdown and the Welcome Back images.

Entries will be published on the Stamford and Guildhall Arts Centre’s websites, and the winning entries will receive a £50 voucher to be used on Stamford, Guildhall, or Meres Live events!

You can be as creative as you like, take a photo at home, whilst shopping, in the garden or outside. Photos can include special effects, be taken on a phone and be in either black & white or in colour.

To enter please email your image as a jpeg. file to box1@southkesteven.gov.uk or use the hashtag #skdcphoto on instagram. You have until 31st July to get your entries in!

Open to all ages. Under 16s please ask an adult’s permission. Please ask permission of anyone who appears in your photo. Deadline 31 July 2021.
