From celebrated auteur Wim Wenders (Wings of Desire, Paris, Texas, Pina) comes a new fiction feature of deceptive simplicity and charm.

Middle-aged Hirayama (Kôji Yakusho) seems entirely content living a simple life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. He enjoys reading, observing the world around him, and listening to music, with old cassettes of Patti Smith, The Kinks, and Lou Reed on rotation in his car. As we follow Hirayama through the city, a series of encounters illuminates his seemingly uncomplicated past.

Beguiling, poetic and moving, Perfect Days is an ode to everyday life and to human connection, intuiting the charms of routine as well as those moments when life is startlingly, unexpectedly disrupted.
