Jimmy is sixteen, sexually confused and stuck in Sheringham. He’s screwed. Well he’s not actually: that’s the problem... When pop star Morrissey comes to London, Jimmy flees to the city to try and find his hero and himself. ‘Rubber Ring’ is a laugh-out-loud one man play that in 2016 opened at The Pleasance Islington to rave reviews before transferring to The Tristan Bates Theatre in London’s West End then embarking on a UK tour. ‘Rubber Ring’ won New Wolsey Ipswich’s Pulse Festival Suitcase Prize 2017 and is currently being adapted for TV with Hat Trick Productions.
