SIMFestival 2023 - Finale

SIMFestival 2023 - Finale

The joyous Stamford International Music Festival Finale ends as the festival began, with an eclectic mix of great chamber music. The first half pairs the wit and exuberance of Françaix with the magic of Fauré's Piano Quintet No.1. Strongly influenced by French impressionism, Frank Bridge's Sextet, composed over six years between the ages of 26 and 33 (the average ages of the festival musicians!), gives a fitting end to SIMFest 2023.

● Françaix - String Trio (1933)
