A regular to Rutland, Small Abstracts - James Orlandich's artistic practice has centered on oil and acrylic creations since 2005.
Exploring and combining use of traditional materials like acrylic paint, charcoal, pastels, ink with local art supplies and with an influence from the elements of nature, enables the creation of three dimensional effect in his work. Coupled with inspiration from texture and structures found in the most unexpected corners of our surrounding.
A process which is dynamic and involves working intuitively on several pieces simultaneously to create synergy between them. This approach creates movement and seamless flow from one piece to another.
Using a variety of the techniques described, allows James to develop his ideas which push artistic boundaries. Please follow jamesorlandich on Instagram to see gallery previews and regular updates.
All exhibits will be available for sale during the exhibition.
