Summer of Soul (...Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised) is a record of the 1969 Harlem Festival that was known as the Black Woodstock. It features some of Soul music’s greatest stars, including Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight & the Pips, BB King, Nina Simone, and the 5th Dimension and should have you swaying in your seat (or dancing in the aisles) from the get-go.
