This latest live-action remake of a classic Walt Disney cartoon is a lavish epic of spectacular visuals and soaring music. Ariel is a mermaid who longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea and, while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. But she makes the mistake of doing a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land, but ultimately places her life - and her underwater family - in great jeopardy.
