Detective Frank Drebin Jr. (Liam Neeson) follows in his canonically bumbling father's (Leslie Nielson) footsteps in The Naked Gun, a hilarious reboot of the much-loved comedy franchise directed by Akiva Schaffer (Saturday Night Live) and produced by Seth MacFarlane (Ted, Family Guy).

Tasked with solving a murder case to prevent his police department shutting down, Frank is joined on the case (and cast) by Pamela Anderson, Paul Walter Hauser, CCH Pounder, Kevin Durand, Cody Rhodes, Liza Koshy, Eddie Yu, and Danny Huston.
