Waterlands - Liz Kelleher

Waterlands - Liz Kelleher

My works’ starting point is in response to the fen landscape and the ephemeral effects of light and weather, layering the ideas of awe, openness and witness to the narratives and sense of place of South Holland and further afield.

Currently I’m working on a series of large-scale oil paintings, drawings, assemblages and prints.

Often incorporating found paraphernalia and collected objects from my surroundings, I like to think of my work as an index of the juxtapositions inherent in the landscape and the stories that sit alongside.
