Bohuslav Martinů – La Revue de cuisine ("The Kitchen Revue")
Step into a world where the kitchen comes to life through music and storytelling! This concert brings Czech composer Martinů’s reimagined Kitchen Revue to the Arts Centre stage, introducing children to the instruments of the orchestra. A rolling pin twirls to a lively Charleston, a teapot sways to a sultry tango, and other kitchen characters join the musical fun! This engaging 40-minute concert is perfect for ages 6-10 (but all are welcome!) and offers a delightful mix of humour and musical discovery.
Featuring:
James Gilbert, clarinet
