Looking forward to a new year of crafting here are three stitch workshops to inspire you. The emphasis is upcycling what you might have stashed away in a drawer – bits of fabric, odd pieces of felt, cotton reels and buttons. Bring what you have along with a basic sewing kit (scissors, needles and pins).

Easter Garlands – 26 March 10am to 12.30pm

So simple. So effective. Heralding the arrival of Easter and celebrating the beautiful spring colours that come with it we will be making a variety of hanging garlands using whatever is to hand (bits of fabric and felt) in light spring colours. A good starter project for preparing for other seasonal decorating. Bring some small pieces of fabric/felt and a basic sewing kit (scissors, needle, pins, thread).
