Harriet Mackenzie “Captivating… a performance full of panache…” (The Strad) directs Celoniatus Ensemble "A freshness and dynamicism rarely experienced... brilliantly played with passion, breath-taking virtuosity, imagination and intelligence" (Amanda Cook, Amici Concert Series) with a nature inspired programme. Mozart’s fresh and dynamic Divertimento in D perfectly compliments the Lark Ascending by Vaughan Willams and Vivaldi’s iconic Four Seasons with the accompanying poems.

Harriet Mackenzie – violin
Harriet Mackenzie is an internationally renowned concerto soloist and has performed across five continents. Her recordings include concertos with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Nova and the English Symphony Orchestra. These have received international acclaim, including Five Stars in The Times (Richard Morrison) and have frequently appeared in the 'Top Recordings of The Year' lists. Harriet made her directing debut in 2016 when she directed and performed with the London-Vienna Kammerorchester in Piazzolla/Deyatnikov 'Four Seasons of Buenos Aires' in Auditorio National, Madrid and has continued to direct ensembles since then including her own string orchestra - the 'Celoniatus Ensemble'.
Celoniatus Ensemble
Named after her 1730 Italian violin, Harriet Mackenzie founded the Celoniatus Ensemble in 2016. She hand-plucked international prizewinners and established professionals – soloists, leaders of orchestras and established chamber music performers to perform alongside her in an innovative chamber orchestra. The group's sold-out debut performance of Piazzolla/Desyanikov's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires at Trinity Laban London was highly acclaimed and has lead to exciting invitations at international festivals around the UK and Europe.
