An exciting gig in the new home of Jazz at Stamford Arts Centre - the Ballroom!
We'll be retaining the raw and intimate vibes we all love from Stamford Jazz, but in a space that offers bigger and better opportunities for these increasingly popular evenings.
Nottingham's first lady of jazz, singer Jeanie Barton, fronts the Stamford Jazz House Trio to perform swinging arrangements of the Great American Songbook. Voted best newcomer at Marlborough Jazz in 2015, Jeanie Barton performs an evening of heavily emotive jazz classics. They will also play some of her nostalgic yet fresh compositions alongside these joyous standards.
Jeanie Barton - Voice
Thom Whitworth - Guitar
Martyn Spencer - Double Bass
Andrew 'Woody' Wood - Drums
