Tuesday 31 May 10am to 3pm
The Queen’s Jubilee Beacons will be lit nationwide on June 2nd to kick off the official Platinum Jubilee celebrations. Thousands of beacons will be lit by communities throughout the Commonwealth.
Come make your own paper craft Jubilee lantern to help light up the night in celebration with artist Sam Roddan of Art Pop-Up.
If you’re attending the Stamford celebrations on the Recreation Ground from 5-10pm on 2/6, you’re invited to bring your lantern to participate in the evening’s festivities and beacon lighting which will commence from 21.35 as part of the national event.
