Wolfgang Petersen’s iconic 1984 fantasy returns to cinemas on its 40th anniversary.
A lonely young boy, Bastian Bux (Barret Oliver) is bullied at school, so he buries himself in a love of books instead. Sitting down to read a particularly ‘special’ book, he’s drawn into its timeless world of fabulous creatures – a world that only he can save from certain destruction – as he discovers that he is the hero of The NeverEnding Story.
