Aims of the event:
 To provide up-to-date information for people with dementia or caring for someone with dementia
 To engage with supporting organisations on how they can assist those with dementia
 To provide basic health checks for participants
Agenda:
 What dementia means and its symptoms
 How to get a diagnosis and what happens after
 ‘Life goes on’ – Presentations and experiences from those living
with the condition
 Telecare and technology to assist independent living
