Catch up with the players of the National Youth String Orchestra's Camerata and Sinfonia ensembles at the close of this year’s summer residency in Stamford.
Founded in 1995, NYSO is one of the UK's most prestigious training organisations for string players aged from 7 to 21, bringing together talented young players from across the country for residencies in the spring and summer. Players benefit from outstanding personalised coaching from a dedicated team of leading chamber orchestra musicians. Working on challenging repertoire they unlock the potential in each player, developing their musicality and confidence as individuals and as members of a section.
Repertoire includes music by Arensky, Bizet, Boyce, Kuula, Nielsen, Rautavaara and Respighi.
