Our second film celebrating the genius of Powell & Pressburger is the movie that effectively ended both men’s careers, a classic work of voyeuristic cinema that so shocked censors and critics at the time that life would never be the same for either man.

Centred on Mark, a psychopathic loner in shabby London who works at a film studio by day and takes racy pictures of women by night, he is also making a movie about fear itself and to get the best shots actually murders whoever is framed by his lens.
