Philippa contrasts another two very different buildings in Stamford, from two very different ages. The earlier one dates from the 15th century, and the later one was built in the reign of Charles II. She looks at what was happening in the town at the times when they were built, and for what they may have been used. And finally, she records who lived and worked in them over the centuries.
