Rachael Johnson is a marvellous young pianist bringing a lot of momentum to the UK jazz scene. Her percussive style combines close chordal harmonies and downright dirty jazz funk with polyphonic Latin rhythms. This unique blend creates a rich tapestry of sounds guaranteed to engage jazz and non jazz listeners alike.

With a licentiate degree in jazz (London college of music) and appearances at Glastonbury, North Sea Jazz fest and Copenhagen jazz Festival, this talented young pianist is already gaining recognition at home and abroad, but this is just the start for Rachael.
