‘Special Delivery’ puppet show
Bird in the Hand Theatre deliver a simple story about the delights of trying something unexpected. When a heavily laden postman is suddenly surprised by a rain shower he discovers that all his packages have lost their labels. In the process of trying to work out the intended recipients, he discovers a bit more about the people on his rounds - and decides to bring a little sunshine into all of their lives.
Pennyless - Folk duo
Pennyless has a special sound that is distinctly English cooking up lively, quirky and downright mystical songs from folklore, medieval history and their own musical minds.
‘Wish you were here’ – postcards workshop
Join Martyn and Sarah from LOV project team (Lincolnshire One Venues) in celebrating our favourite places and share it with communities across South Kesteven and beyond! Design and create a A5 postcard that celebrates your favourite place, be it through a drawing, painting or using any other medium you can think of. On the back, write about why your place is special and means so much to you.
Please bring the name and full postal address of someone you miss and want to send a special message to.
Show runtime approx 1h15 mins.
All shows are outdoors. Please bring your own blanket to sit on, no seating will be provided.
Social bubbles/households will be seated in allocated spaces in socially distanced groups, households will NOT be permitted to mix. You will be seated in the group you book in.
The show will proceed in light rain, bring an umbrella!
COVID 19: Bookings are limited to up to 6 people per booking. If you bubble/family is larger than 6, please call the box office directly to book.
All bookings must be made as family groups or COVID bubbles.
Once you arrive at your activity, details of anyone aged 16+ will be asked for their details to comply with track and trace.
Anyone participating in the activity will be asked to sanitise their hands using gel provided before beginning.
