The Sultan Stevenson Trio is an emerging group led by Sultan whose work draws heavily upon Jazz and African music with elements of McCoy Tyner, Kenny Kirkland and John Coltrane. He’s shaped his musical identity through his cultural experience and Caribbean origin to develop his own distinct sound.
