This absorbing prequel to the Hunger Games franchise is set some 60 years before Katniss Everdine made her play to become the ultimate champion.
Focussing on Coriolanus Snow, years before he would become the tyrannical President of Panem, the young and handsome Coriolanus grasps a chance for a change in his fortunes when he is chosen to be a mentor for the 10th Hunger Games.
But his hopes are dashed when he is assigned to a girl tribute named Lucy Gray Baird from the impoverished District 12.
A superb rekindling of this futuristic epic.
