A highly interactive true-crime experience where you are the investigators.

Following the phenomenal success of the Manhunter and Mindhunter UK theatre tour in 2025, two of Britain’s most experienced detectives return with a bold new live event.

Colin Sutton and Steve Gaskin bring audiences inside a real murder investigation — and this time, you are part of the team.

The Real Detectives

Both Colin Sutton and Steve Gaskin are former Detective Chief Inspectors with decades of experience investigating high-profile murders as part of New Scotland Yard’s elite Murder Squad.

This is not fiction.
There are no actors.

Everything you hear comes from real cases, real investigations, and real decisions.

Part One: Inside a Murder Squad

In the first half of the evening, Colin and Steve take you behind the scenes of a real murder investigation, exploring:

• How a murder squad actually operates
• What it feels like to catch a killer — and what happens when you don’t
• What really happens during a post-mortem and why it matters
• How detectives and expert witnesses prepare for a high-stakes murder trial

You’ll hear raw, first-hand accounts from two detectives who have lived these investigations from start to finish.

Part Two: Crack the Case

After a short intermission, the evening transforms into a fully interactive investigation.

Every audience member will receive a murder case file and be briefed exactly as a real murder squad would be. From there, it’s over to you.

You will:

• Examine key evidence
• Explore a digital crime scene
• Identify motives and opportunities
• Decide who the killer is

The evening concludes with a professional debrief from Colin and Steve, revealing how close — or how far — you were from solving the case.

A First-of-Its-Kind British Theatre Experience

Killer Catchers: Crack the Case is not just a show. It is an immersive journey into real criminal investigation. For the first time on a UK stage, audiences don’t simply observe a murder investigation — they actively take part in it.

Whether you are a dedicated true-crime fan or simply curious to see how your instincts measure up, this is a gripping and unforgettable live experience that will stay with you long after the final reveal.
