The 33rd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe reprises Brie Larson as Captain Marvel who, due to a pesky wormhole in the cosmos, gets her powers entangled with two other female superheroes, who become known collectively as The Marvels.
Great special effects and a smart mix of comedy and awe delivers a nice post-Xmas dose of spectacular cinema to round off 2023.
