The complex lives of young deaf people are explored in all their intricacies in this searching, beautifully performed drama set in contemporary Hong Kong. Based on long-term research and utilising a collaborative approach, Adam Wong Sau-Ping’s (The Way We Dance) sixth feature is a moving portrait of friendship and belonging.
Wolf, Alan and Sophie all have different levels of deafness. When Sophie graduates from the university and starts a new job, she realises she has been struggling to be seen as normal.
